This tool performs the same steps to verify a domain to set up an Organization as this article. It checks for both methods.
[ display_msg ]
A valid TXT record was found with the verification code: [ response.dns.code ]
No logmein-verification-code
TXT record was found for [response.domain]. If the customer
is setting up a DNS domain verification method a support article detailing how to do so is available here:
Adding a TXT record to a DNS server
[ response.domain ] is a valid domain, but there are no DNS TXT records found. You can confirm by using MX Toolbox to look up the TXT records here.
[ response.input ] is not a valid domain and was unable to be looked up.
[ response.txt_get ]
A text file was not acessible at http://[ response.domain ]/logmein-verification-code.txt by the domain verification service. If you are able to access the link above in the browser, but unable to do so from the Citrix Organization Center this is most likely due to a firewall on the webserver blocking Java clients from connecting.
When trying to download logmein-verification-code.txt
from [ response.domain ]
the server returned a 403 FORBIDDEN response, meaning it blocked the domain verification service from
downloading. This is almost always due to a firewall on the webserver hosting the file blocking Java
user agents from connecting. The DNS method can be used with the instructions in this article:
Adding a TXT record to a DNS server
This tool was unable to decode the response from the webserver when trying to get the file logmein-verification-code.txt
.
The response from the server was not a text document, but an HTML document. This usually occurs when the page is delivering an error message, such as a 404 Not Found page, or is redirecting elsewhere. To test the result yourself: http://[ response.domain ]/logmein-verification-code.txt.
Verification service was unable to get logmein-verification-code.txt
from the server located at [ response.domain ].
